Nutrition/Eating Log

Jimmy Hays Nelson (Beachbody Trainer): "Self-discipline begins with the mastery of your thoughts. If you don't control what you think, you can't control what you do."

True. And when anyone in the U.S. talks about healthcare, it should start with the above statement. We could move the needle more than 50% in the right direction if everyone took time to think about their physical activity and food intake. Tracked both their movements and calories (then moved on to QUALITY of what was going in!) then, magically, after 90 days, habits would change for good, weight would drop, and the need for many pills would end.

A blow to our drug companies? Yes. Less doctor visits to free up time to see everyone/move to a public system with all paying and all getting benefits? Yes.

Guessing this is one of the oldest, hardest problems to crack. Getting folks to take personal responsibility in every aspect of their lives. Tough one. But worth working towards/on.

Have you tracked your outputs and inputs? Your workouts and calories/types in?

I can help -- and so can Jimmy. You can always reach me at timothymclain at yahoo.com (you know what to do with that, right?) or click the links on the right, down a bit, to Mr. Nelson.

Rock your week people!
