End Week 2 | Sunday: Rest Day, Good Day...

P90X | Week 2
Nutrition/Eating Log

Morning weigh-in -- with Will and Deb as witness -- 190 pounds. Too good! Down 8 pounds over 14 days or so. Graph from my fitday.com account/linked above under Log:

No soreness, all good, but still excellent to take Sunday off to recover from P90X Week 2, rebuild, and eat right. My review so far? Nailing the workouts, solid eating plan with calorie tracking, all adding up to changes in my mid-section, and a fresh hint of my abs somewhere underneath the remaining spare tire. Not bad for Week 2 of 12.

Enjoyed my pairing of eat clean dishes for breakfast today -- Lox/Whole Grain Bagel (plain) and Breakfast Potatoes. Again, pretty full, but the great news from last night -- that Mushroom Soup = a ton of carbs. Felt uber-full until about 11 p.m. (watched Taken, thanks Netflix) then... BLAM. Hunger pains. Honestly, I was relieved, seeing carb numbers that high, was worried about it hitting my spare tire. Not so much it seems. Will keep an eye on it. Thanks again Kim!

Stumbled upon this interesting video, how to hack your Toyota Prius to be an all-battery vehicle, or switch back to "classic" gas-electric mode. Love the spirit of these entrepreneurs, tweaking existing products to do things they weren't intended to do.

Off to our Pack 218 Summer Picnic this afternoon, Will will move from Tigers to Wolves. Been a pretty crazy start to our Scouting life together -- disorganized in the extreme, picking up with no training, diving in with both feet, and managed to get things together by the end of the year pretty nicely. (Read: Pack Trainers out there, do your best to help your newest Den leaders who come in cold in Sept. to maximize success!)

Now that I'm trained and have a feel for things, our Wolf Den will start off on the right foot in Year 2 -- can't wait!
