STS-133 Shuttle Discovery Launch



Biggest surprises of the shuttle launch, besides the hours getting back to the hotel, was the brightness of the flames (nearly as intense as a welders torch in person) and the speed. Jumped off the pad and was gone in seconds. The tracking TV cameras with filters make it look pokey on TV. Now we can relax!
