Recovery? Not quite... More like, a less-intense warm up, then a pretty insane series of three short "workouts" that really put your core/abs, lower body, and upper body through the wringer.
All new moves, end with shaky arms/legs, and a serious heart rate.
That's one essential truth about P90X and Insanity -- the "recovery" workouts/weeks are anything BUT sitting down and doing nothing. They're challenging with a lower intensity level that still burns calories and keeps you moving.
